Our Projects

Mission Rahat

In the relentless heat of summer, Ekya Foundation recognizes the daily struggles faced by our community’s most vulnerable members, particularly daily wage workers. These individuals work tirelessly under harsh conditions to provide for their families, often braving extreme weather with minimal relief.

Understanding the dire need to support these resilient workers, the Ekya Foundation has launched Mission Rahat—a heartfelt initiative aimed at providing much-needed relief to those enduring the brunt of the scorching heat and other adversities.
Mission Rahat is more than just an initiative; it’s a call to action for everyone to recognize and support those in need. At Ekya Foundation, we believe in the power of community and the importance of standing together, especially in times of adversity. We invite you to join us in our mission to bring comfort and relief to those who need it most.

Periods of Hope

Empowerment comes from breaking menstrual taboos. Ekya Foundation decided to change the story, offering education with warmth and compassion. They aimed to build confidence and remove the stigma around a natural part of every woman's life. Period.

Ekya foundation took the powerful initiative of distributing pads while educating. We not only addressed the practical needs but also opened a door to understanding, explaining the natural processes that accompany this crucial aspect of women's health. This holistic approach promotes both accessibility and awareness.

We visited the government schools of Sonipat villages wherein the females experienced difficulties in talking about menstrual health and hygiene. Realising its significance, we took on the mission to educate them on essential menstrual hygiene and the misconceptions around it, had interactive sessions and distributed sustainable menstrual hygiene products to not only educate but also empower our young women.
