Kolkata, the city where our journey first began. On conducting drives on a weekly basis, it was clear how certain locations and groups of people are deprived of the most basic necessity i.e food, where even after working they receive only one meal a day. Team Ekya Kolkata has thus, taken a pledge to reach out all those genuine locations to provide meal on a regular basis to fight hunger and malnutrition.
Mumbai,
Maharashtra
Mumbai, our second centre where prominence is given to humble NGOs which lack basic facilities such as food, healthcare and education. Team Ekya Mumbai takes upon the responsibility of upliftment of those orphanages and old age homes. The team further conducts food drives on a weekly basis in the slum areas of Mumbai in order to aid the underprivileged with nutritious food.
New Delhi
New Delhi, our most recent location, focuses on nutritious food drives outside government hospitals such as AIIMS that comprise of several underprivileged individuals outside these hospitals who starve themselves in order to save money for the medicines and treatment of their loved ones. Therefore, Team Ekya Delhi takes upon themselves to provide food, comfort and care to the patients and their loved ones outside government hospitals along with weekly drives for the construction and street workers.
Saharanpur,
Uttar Pradesh
Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, our third centre where the lack of food and malnutrition could be significantly noticed. Many underprivileged from low SES backgrounds were unable to provide food for themselves or their family even after working. Therefore, Team Ekya Saharanpur reaches out to those groups of individuals that lack the provision of nutritious meals and provides them with meals on a regular basis in order to fight towards hunger and malnutrition. Moreover, they focus on the upliftment of humble NGOs across Saharanpur.
Chandigarh
Chandigarh, one of our recent locations where the food scarcity had been noticed specially among construction workers, labourers and their families. Team Ekya Chandigarh takes an initiative to reach out to the lesser fortunate and provide food packets and nutritious food meals to the people in dire need. Through weekly drives across the city the team focuses on genuine locations and people in need along with upliftment of orphanages by providing them with essentials and spending festivals with the children.

Assam
Tinsukia, Assam, serve as one of our centres which has faced a lot of scarcity with respect to nutritious food. Some areas of Assam comprise of locations where people with low SES suffer from diseases and malnutrition due to the lack of nutritious food. Team Ekya Assam, is responsible for providing food packets and home-cooked meals to those areas where the need can be seen. The team additionally focuses on upliftment of humble NGOs across Assam which lack adequate facilities and care.
